Anonymous
Anonymous (used as a mass noun) is a loosely associated international network of hacktivists and anarchist entities. A website nominally associated with the group describes it as "an internet gathering" with "a very loose and decentralized command structure that operates on ideas rather than directives".The group became known for a series of well-publicized publicity stunts and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on government, religious, and corporate websites. Anonymous originated in 2003 on the imageboard 4chan, representing the concept of many online and offline community users simultaneously existing as an anarchic, digitized global brain.The group is also associated with the satirical open wiki Encyclopedia Dramatica.Anonymous members (known as "Anons") can be distinguished in public by the wearing of stylised Guy Fawkes masks. In its early form, the concept was adopted by a decentralized online community acting anonymously in a coordinated manner, usually toward a loosely self-agreed goal, and primarily focused on entertainment, or "lulz". Beginning with 2008's Project Chanology—a series of protests, pranks, and hacks targeting the Church of Scientology—the Anonymous collective became increasingly associated with collaborative, hacktivism on a number of issues internationally. Individuals claiming to align themselves with Anonymous undertook protests and other actions (including direct action) in retaliation against anti-digital piracy campaigns by motion picture and recording industry trade associations. Later targets of Anonymous hacktivism included government agencies of the US, Israel, Tunisia, Uganda, and others; child pornography sites; copyright protection agencies; the Westboro Baptist Church; and corporations such as PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, and Sony. Anons have publicly supported WikiLeaks and the Occupy movement. Related groups LulzSecand Operation AntiSec carried out cyberattacks on US government agencies, media, video game companies, military contractors, military personnel, and police officers, resulting in the attention of law enforcement to the groups activities.

Egon March Institute
Egon March Institute (EMI) was founded by Slovene pioneer of media art Marko Košnik in 1986 as a unit for reflection, research and production in interdisciplinary arts. Since its beginning it was concieved as a platform for joint research of the artists originating in different fields of artistic activities, i.e. choreography, photography, video, acoustics, electro acoustic music (improvised and composed), architecture, fine arts, interactive systems, digital arts, conceptual frameworks, social sculpture ... which end up as artistic actions. EMI signed over 60 productions in the span of last 25 years, mainly in the fields of interactive performance, interactive installation, net cast performance, radio plays/compositions and video instrumentalism. The Institute regularly cooperates with numerous national and specially with international colleagues and institutions.

Geert Lovink
Geert Lovink is a Dutch-Australian media theorist and critic. He is Professor at the European Graduate School, Research Professor at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where he is founding director of the Institute of Network Cultures, and Associate Professor in Media Studies (new media), University of Amsterdam. Lovink is author of Dark Fiber (2002), My First Recession (2003) and Zero Comments (2007). He recently co-organized events and publications on Wikipedia research, online video and the culture of search. His forthcoming book investigates the rise of ‘popular hermeneutics’ inside Web 2.0, large scale comment cultures and the shifting position of new media (studies) inside the humanities.
GVR Institute for Contemporary Arts
GVR Institute for Contemporary Arts is an organization for the production of contemporary multimedia, visual, and performing arts established in 1992 by Vlado G. Repnik. A vehicle for the work of the theatre director and multimedia artist Vlado Repnik, the institute recently increasingly focuses on the production of internet and intermedia projects. One of such productions is the performance Evergreen - Comments on Media[Evergreen - komentarji o medijih] (2009), co-produced by the frequent collaborating institute Intima Virtual Base, along with Bunker Institute and Eẋ Ponto International Festival, which aimed to reflect on the paradoxical layers of our perception and different understandings of media translations. In the recent years the production turned towards urban interventions such as the Blank_Protest (2007– 2013).

Projekat Atol Institute
Projekt Atol is a non-profit cultural institution founded in 1992 by Slovene conceptual and new media artist Marko Peljhan and officially registered in 1994. Its activities range from art production to scientific research and technological prototype development and production. The technological arm of Projekt Atol, called PACT Systems (Projekt Atol Communication Technologies), was founded in 1995, and the flight operations branch, Projekt Atol Flight Operations, was founded in 1999 to support art and cultural activities in the atmosphere, in orbit, and beyond. Projekt Atol serves as the institutional, financial and logistics support frame for several projects and initiatives, such as its Makrolab project and the recent Arctic Perspective Initiative.

Richard Matthew Stallman
