Igor Štromajer – Intimate Mobile Communicator researches tactical emotional para-artistic actions, intimate guerrilla, and traumatic low-tech communication strategies. He has shown his work at more than a hundred exhibitions in more than sixty countries and received a number of awards (Moscow, Hamburg, Dresden, Belfort, Madrid, Maribor).
His projects form part of the permanent collections of the prestigious art institutions, among them Le Centre national d’art et de Culture Georges Pompidou – Musée national d’art moderne, Paris, France; the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid, Spain; the Moderna galerija – the Slovene Museum of Contemporary Arts, Ljubljana, Slovenia;Computerfinearts – net and media art collection, New York, USA; Maribor Art Gallery, Maribor, Slovenia. As a guest artist he lectures at universities and contemporary art institutes worldwide.

I believe in intimacy, individualism, emotions, frustrations, traumas, artificial, communication, impossibility, mobility, montage, radicality, sensibility, silence, strategy, tactics, tears, orgasm, concept, pleasure, fantasies, philosophy, transfer, utopia and angels. I do not believe in media, tourism and the end.

Low-Tech Internet Para-Ballet by Igor Štromajer & Brane Zorman | 10 years: 2001-2011 Ballettikka Internettikka is a series of tactical art projects by Igor Štromajer and Brane Zorman which began in 2001 with the exploration of Internet ballet.It explores wireless Internet ballet performances combined with guerrilla tactics and mobile live Internet broadcasting strategies. The 10-years project ended in 2011.
